Eating out and night life: Miraflores boasts several eateries within the resort. You can opt for some traditional Spanish dishes or partake in some well love international cuisine from countries such as Britain, France, Mexico, India and Italy.

Many of the restaurants have live entertainment to keep you occupied whilst you eat your meal. They are all open till late Calahonda also has a fine selection of cafés and restaurants.
Evenings in the Albamar residency complex are a quiet affair with visitors enjoying a bite to eat and some laid on entertainment. If you are looking for a more vibrant night out, Calahonda, Fuengirola, Cabopino and Marbella have several nightclubs, bars and discos.
Local atractions: The Aztec Centre is a 6 minute walk from the apartment and is in the heart of Riviera del Sol. The Centre features a sporting complex with very good facilities. Olympic sized swimming pool, 7 tennis courts, badminton courts, mini golf and a gymnasium, not to mention the beauty salon/hairdressers and physiotherapist. It is open to non residents and provides not only excellent reasonable priced food, but evening entertainment for all ages. A newly constructed and state of the art internet centre and games room caters for all ages.
Cabopino with fabulous beaches, marina and a dozen lovely restaurants and bars is a 5 minute drive. This is where “El Dorado” was filmed.
Mijas, a little white washed village with lots of arts and craft shops and the most amazing views of the coastline is 20mins by car. A tax free shopping trip and to see the infamous monkeys, Gibraltar is only a 30 min drive away. The Alhambra Palace in Granada is 1hr 15 min drive, Cordoba – 2 hours, Sevilla – 2,5 hours
Horse racing: Horse racing is a huge added attraction to the Costa del Sol's favourite holiday destination. The Hippodrome Costa del Sol has two tracks, with floodlighting for night racing, and a grandstand accommodating 5000 spectators; in addition we have track side seating for a further 5000.
The prize money is the highest in Spain and the season lasts throughout the winter months when most other tracks are closed. Our racing season is October to May.
