3/5 - Okay
The area around the AO and neighboring new hotels is fine. Mestre could be cleaner and prettier but we did find some good gelaterias. We recommend the pizzas at the new, attractive Montenapoleone restaurant across the street.
Some popular features of Marghera include its shopping and restaurants. If you're in the mood to explore farther, Porto Marghera or Villa Foscari La Malcontenta are worth checking out in the surrounding nearby area.
Well-liked for its bars and monuments, Mestre City Center is worth a visit. Check out the variety of things to see and do like Ferretto Square and M9 Mestre Museum, and jump on the metro at Mestre Centro B1 to get around the city.
Tessera is known for its ample dining options, and you can make a stop by Forte Bazzera and Cantina Marco Polo 6811 while in the area.
San Giuliano is popular for its abundant dining options, and if you're looking for more to see and do, you might think about a trip to San Giuliano Park or Parco Pubblico s Giuliano.
If you're spending time in Campalto, you might enjoy its restaurants and waterfront views. If you've got time to venture a little farther, you can make a stop by San Giuliano Park or Forte Marghera.
Travelers like the restaurants in Fusina, and Terminal Fusina is a top attraction you might want to visit.

I was at the airport sector - mestre itself is fine - it’s where the Venetians have to live now with climate change. Fun shopping & M9 Museum.
Drug's dealer blatantly doing their business on the roads. Food or classic shops have been replaced by foreigner shabby minimarkets. Really upsetting
Its a convenient location to get to Venice island. It's not the prettiest one but ok for that only purpose.
