"We were looking for a house with two bedrooms and two baths for a girlfriends getaway weekend to visit the Geauga County Maple Festival. Thistle was located easily within walking distance of the square as well as all local county attractions were easily accessible. I live in Atlanta now but grew up in Chardon.The house had character and comfort. While it was too cool to take advantage of the ample outside area, outdoor seating for warmer weather abounds. We did enjoy the front porch.We used the two downstairs bedrooms and did not move into the upstairs at all. Lots of room up there, but no bath and rather narrow stairs.The beds and bedding were good as was the towel supply and overall bathroom experiences. Great water pressure for showers and lots of hot water.The kitchen was well-supplied to allow for most cooking needs and included a small eat-in area.I liked the decor and felt this house provided us with fun memories of our Chardon weekend and I would stay there again if visiting Chardon with friends. Molly was extremely easy to work with and the house was everything we wanted and more. Very quiet too. "
