"Stayed here for a week in June 2024, two people and one dog. Beautiful old townhouse on a side street close to the center of a busy little town. Really characterful house with high ceilings and big windows decorated in a really relaxing modern style. The garden is great....basically completely walled and not overlooked at all. Ein abgeschlossener Hof nach vorne, gut für die Hunde und ein wundervoller Garten mit Schaukel etc. hinterm Haus. Das Haus selbst ist perfekt ausgestattet. "Maison en pleine campagne, avec pour seul voisinage la nature (abeilles, vaches et compagnie). Jardin clôturé avec piscine, trampoline, baby foot pour le plus grand plaisir des enfants... et en plus, un BBQ, une plancha, des mirabelles, de beaux arbres et une terrasse couverte. Bref, rien ne manque ! A l'intérieur, maison bien équipée, tout confort. Nous avons plutôt profité du jardin. Petites améliorations possibles : accès un peu plus sécurisé pour la piscine, rideaux pour un noir complet...

"Our family was planning a trip to the area to see the Tour de France. We had stayed in Argilly a couple of years ago for our daughter’s wedding but the house wasn’t available for this trip. Thankfully we were able to find and book this house. I cannot say enough great things about the host and the prompt communication. The early Monday morning market in Louhans is a must, with excellent and inexpensive local produce as well as traditional clearance lines.
