"Great hotel, location and staff. Issues: - bike storage should have proper racks to give more security to cyclists. We had no issues, but i didn’t feel comfortable leaving my bike at first and you are not allowed to keep them in your room. - i think their ecofriendliness could be improved by leaving soap bars, as ours was swapped with a new one every day even though it had been hardly used."

"We had an amazing stay at Het Arresthuis. The rooms were fantastic and there are brilliant touches to really make you feel caught in luxury. The staff were all so incredibly helpful. The breakfast was second to none. We could not have asked for more. "

"I loved the historical nature of this hotel. It was formerly an orphanage and it has been restored to reflect that. The rooms are small, basically the width of a king size bed, (which was gorgeously comfortable), though there was a shower and sink in the room as well. The toilets are down the hall. The rooms are dead quiet, as you are encased by thick walls. There are a few plaques around the hotel to tell of its former life. The hotel is situated right in the centrum, behind the old church, and spitting distance from Venlo's shopping, going out area. Loved it. 5 stars. "
