"The area is beautiful. An unspoilt part of France that has much to offer. Jenny our host lives next door to this traditional gite. She met us on arrival and was hugely welcoming. Throughout our stay she advised things to do and places to eat. We kayaked, hiked, climbed and went on the luge. The gite has all things you might need to stay. We often cooked at home. "Good communication on day of stay with host. Arrival and check in was a breeze. Great accommodation with new appliances whilst keeping ties with the building’s origins. Everything explained and we were good. Really comfy bed in main bedroom. Lovely big garden with small dividing fence so our dog and host’s dog could go nose to nose. Separate electric gates allowed access to property so whilst hosts are close by they are also distant. We did not have any issues so did not need to be in contact...

"The house was very beautiful and well equipped (a baby chair would be the only possible improvement). The beach is near, but Caen as a larger city is also in reach. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful for finding activities and places to visit in the area (speaks English as well as French!). Definitly a place where we would like to stay again, if we were to return to the region near Caen!"

"We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

"This is the perfect holiday home! The house is spacious, modern and so well equipped with everything you could need. The owner Matthieu lives nearby and was so helpful and friendly. The children loved playing tennis on the driveway, football on the grass and boules on the petanque pitch.
