"This is mainly a hostel focused on budget travellers, however, there are double rooms with a bathroom available, too. Don’t buy food and drinks at this hostel as they are heavily overpriced. You can dine and drink half price elsewhere. On the other hand you can purchase some local trips, transports and various activities at the reception at a reasonable cost. The hostel looks quite dated and the room equipment is poor. I still liked the pool and vibes. The breakfast included was reasonable. "

"Such an amazing place. My room number 9 was totally amazing. For any price it was a 10. Extremely affordable. Great breakfast, they go out of the way to provide you the best meal. Quiet a awesome AC, strong reliable wifi and well equipped kitchen. Staff are exceptional. Airport transfers and taxis available at about $10 cheaper than anyone else. Perfect place for backpacker too. Definitely book your stay with them. "

"Brand new hostel. Paid for breakfast which was very good. Owner speaks english. Is quite far from town center for going for food and entertainment. Also, the online price was lower than what we paid. As it was only one night, the 50% increase was too much of a big deal. However, it would certainly add up if staying for a few nights. "

"Was up all night all of the nights because the owner had a German Shepard 3 feet from my room. And he kept at every little thing. Lots of construction. Toilet doesn’t work. Loud constant traffic. "

Location is good and the promotional price I paid was excellent value with included breakfast and a nice 5-bed shared room with a decent bathroom. The WiFi was good and a coffee was a reasonable 35 as were beers at 50. Breakfast was included too and was decent also. "This hotel is pretty adorable. We only stayed one night to be near the airport at the tail end of a longer trip around Nicaragua. We chose this place because of the cute bar and cafe shown on the website and the airport shuttle service. The bar and cafe were both closed during our stay and the expensive "shuttle service" was just them calling a taxi, so not sure that worth it. "The villa itself was beautiful !! Gorgeous views, wonderful pool, trails to hike, great people staffing as well as others staying on the property. 8 bungalows with other guests, and still very private. Access was a bit difficult. Road to property is dirt and very rough with many potholes from rainy season. Not regular car access type. Roads in Nicaragua leave much to be desired.. to say the least. Highways are excellent but be prepared for the driving !!"

"Mavella is awesome. She is incredibly helpful arranging your taxis, everything. Having a kitchen, and a nearby grocery store is awesome. Managua is hot. Like really hot. The 2 mini-split ac units in the apartment is key. Love this place!"
