"I found this place by accident. How pleased I am that I did. If you have never been to Normandy ( or even if you have), you must try L'Etape Normande. The accommodation has been converted to an exceptionally high standard. The free use of the spa was very welcome after a long days drive and the breakfast we were provided with, consisting of local cheeses, bread, ham, smoked salmon and home made preserves was simply a delight. "Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 3 nuits dans cette ferme ou il fait bon vivre. On se sent "presque" comme à la maison à pouvoir s'installer au coin du feu ou dans le jardin. L'impression néanmoins de déranger par moment quand nous demandons simplement un café, à ajouter une buche dans le feu, ou si nous pouvons utiliser un endroit dans le frigo. C'est dommage, c'est le seul élément qu'il manque à cette propriété."

"We can't really rate this hotel fairly as when we arrived they said they hadn't received the booking from hotels.com! It was a night we had redeemed one of our reward nights and paid extra for. We were given a room down the road in the house that one of the staff lives in which was hastily cleaned for us! Ok but not what we had paid for. We did use the pool and had breakfast at the hotel. Initial problems with the internet were finally sorted due to my insistence. Whose error was this?"

"The grounds are amazing - so much space, lots of chairs, great outside dining area and a fantastic pool! The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Beds are comfy (except plastic mattress protectors). For us the room layout was an issue. The two twin beds are actally family rooms with double beds in, not separate as it looks like in the listing photos, which are very misleading. This was frustrating for us as we had to have three children in our room - we had booked here to avoid that happening....
