Relax with the whole family at our peaceful riverside retreat. Kitchen views over look the expansive deck and beautiful Sand River. There is a dock with river access and a canoe available for you to use. Our home is within walking distance to Lake Superior accessed down the driveway and across M28. The house has an amazing electric sauna inside for your use.
Located conveniently 20 minutes from Marquette, 26 minutes from Munising.

Beautiful property! Great experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The river was lovely, property had plenty of space for our guests. We really enjoyed our time and hope to come back!

Nice place for a big group!

PROS: Overall stay was great, beautiful home for our family of 10 adults! Kitchen table was not in the pics, so didn’t know what to expect, was a nice surprise as it’s where we spent most of our time. Spotty cell service, but WiFi is provided. Games/maps/brochures of area provided. Master suite was large and beautiful! The two bedrooms (king/queen) upstairs had their own private full bthrm, full shared bthrm downstairs. It was nice to have the twin beds on the 1st floor for our older guests. Plenty of towels/washcloths for each of our 10 guests for 4 nights! Provided coffee was a nice touch! Host was responsive and very nice! CONS: No A/C. This was not prominently posted, so I missed it. It only shows heat on the list of ‘comforts’. Response from owner was most homes in the UP don’t have A/C, which is understandable, but unknown to a Florida girl like me. Thankfully everyone was comfortable as the lows were in the mid 60’s. Window screens must have holes or didn’t shut well, bugs found their way in. Sills need webs and dead bugs wiped out. House was relatively tidy/clean, but the main floor bthrm was not cleaned from the prior guests. All the toilets need a deep cleaning in the crevices. Disappointing considering the hefty cleaning fee. Double bed in office is an uncomfortable futon, not suitable for 2 adults. I suggest bringing an air mattress if you have more than 8 adults.
