"Wonderful location for the first of hopefully many trips as a large group of friends (inspired by my dad’s trips with Terence’s friends below!). Dinner on the promontory terrace overlooking the river was truly spectacular. The pool was refreshing for our week of unexpectedly hot September weather and the hot water for showering was truly impressive. The chateau is an unforgettable vacation spot!"

"We are two families 4 adults and 4 children (age 6-10) and have recently stayed for 1 week at Chateau Madame. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. There is a 400m meandering drive up the hillside toward Chateau Madame that provides a secluded and safe setting. "We had an veranda and it was amazing view and ambiance. The hotel is clean and perfectly situated right in town. We were disappointed that we only stayed 2 nights. Hotel aside, what really clinched it for me to cause me to write this review was the service. I had forgotten my laptop and immediately the cleaning staff notified us but we were already on our way to Paris. The hotel then helped coordinate the laptop to be shipped back to Canada for me and kept me in the loop the whole process. Valentin - thank you for making a stressful situation much simpler! Highly recommend the staff and the hotel, I hope to be back one day."
