They walked us in to make sure everything was in tip-top shape and that we had everything we needed! They were friendly and stayed in good communication through texting. "We rented for a weekend, so we could get to know the local area. Sister Lakes is a nice area, consisting of several lakes, including Cable Lake (where the cabin is located). There were plenty of beds and the bathrooms and kitchen were well-updated. The screen porch was a perfect place to enjoy a time-appropriate beverage and the beautiful Cable Lake view. Easy check in and nicely stocked and furnished!"

"Nice getaway, designed for outdoor social, not very good for inside social, but we headed out to have good times with a quick game and a couple meals inside. Needs a tv in the small social area, could be on a small table. Could use a deep clean top to bottom but mostly it was clean and safe."

"We most loved the deck on the front of the cabin. Many hours were spent just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. The lake is quite private and peaceful. The cabin is super cool and definitely a labor of love for the family that built it. It's nice that they are willing to share it with us. "Small but adequate for two adults. Very clean, tastefully decorated with a rustic, cottage flair. Host had more than ample supplies of paper products, linens, wood for fire pit if you choose to use it. Breathtaking views from the screened in porch. Porch had great rockers and a futon. Bring you fishing pole if you like bass. Man caught 4 lb bass off in boat a few yards from the doc. Tuesday night LaCantina had 6.00 spaghetti special- magnificent! All in all a very relaxing experience."

However, upon arrival, we faced a significant health and safety issue: mice infestation. "Everything was great! Sage was very communicative and responded within timing manner. There were some things that one could keep in mind the shower water smelled rusted and one of the side of the stove did work making cooking time longer. There’s designated parking spot for each cottage but at times people would park in that space. Aside from these minors things everything else was great and I would come back again. "
