"I enjoyed the stay. The hotel room is cute and clean. Very convenient location. One side (front desk side) is steps to the train station. The back side is to a street which you can walk to the sights of tourists interest."

"I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great. Location however is in a village about 30 km from Parma. I went to dinner in the village at a traditional restaurant which was excellent. I was the only tourist there. If you can deal with a very remote location, a closed reception until 4 pm, and if you get a room in the new building, then this is actually a 5 star experience."

"Booked this hotel because of the reviews that we had read, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Absolutely fabulous. The renovations to the property have kept to the character of the building, wonderful. So relaxing. The owners are perfect hosts and dinner amazing"
