"The cottage was sparkling clean upon our arrival with beautiful furnishings and new appliances! We were pleasantly surprised that we did not find one bug in the cottage throughout our entire stay During our stay, the canal was dried up which made it difficult to use the kayaks, but that's on Mother Nature. There were plenty of extra blankets and a cute electric fireplace - the TV's firestick made it easy to log in to our streaming services too. The Wi-Fi was strong and we never had an issue with cellular service when connected. The cottage is near an amazing ice cream parlor which was a family favorite. It's safe to say we will be staying here again!"

"This charming cottage was perfect for myself and 2 friends. The weather eas rainy but cleared for beautiful sunsets. We even saw Northern lights. If the temperatures were warmer we would of kayaked. We had fun playing games, doing puzzles and takjng a day trip to Alpena. I would rent this cottage again when the weather is warmer to kayak and play in the lake."
