"The two buildings of this hotel, 200 years ago was a mental hospital. That is history. Now that it’s a hotel, the rooms are absolutely old Swedish charming. I can only talk about my room, but everything in it was antique and beautiful and fit with the period. It was very quiet. In between the two buildings it’s a lovely, circular garden, and there are tables and chairs out in front of each building. "Pretty nice hotel and a good location for dining, etc., but our rooms were at the front of the building on the 2nd floor and the hotel’s restaurant hosted all night bar with very (very) loud dance/club music in the square just outside both nights. It was intolerably loud in our room until nearly 3am. We checked in early enough in the day that staff indicated we could have been given rooms in another part of the hotel if we’d had any warning. Tough on my kids. All part of the deal when you travel but tbh it was unexpected given the info we had about the hotel, it def does not have an all-night dance club vibe (or price)."
