"Luxurious Stay in the Lumber Baron’s Suite. We loved the spacious suite, lake view, balcony, comfy king bed, and seating areas. Our dinner of small plates at the restaurant was delicious, exquisitely plated, and accompanied by refreshing creative mocktails. (Of course, they have cocktails, too.) All the service was excellent and the hotel was very clean with tasteful decor. The fresh fruit and muffins at the continental breakfast were a cut above the typical."

"This property is secluded in the woods but a short quick drive to Munising. This was within an hour or 2 of all the places we wanted to visit like Mackinac Island, Paradise, Whitefish Point & more. The neighbors & dog were really nice and came over to warn us that a mama bear & cub were spotted across the street from us and to be aware and not to leave food in car or outside. "Nice inn on the beach, nice staff and beautiful property. But if your checking in past 11 make sure to call them and let them know. I got charged $30 more then what I had paid and I’m guessing it’s because I checked in late and didn’t call. But other then that nice motel."
