"A great place for a get away from it all trip, and a good base to explore the west of Lewis. Bad weather and ferry disruption didn’t spoil it for me (but maybe that disrupted the cleaning regime, which was not good?).There are great views from the cottage and many wild spots and extensive beaches. The local community shop is very good, but other amenities are far away, as expected."
