"The location of King’s Kastle on Salmon Lake is excellent. The lake is wide at that point and offers great views of the sunrise, particularly from the upstairs master bedroom suite. The lake has less development than others where we have stayed in Maine. We enjoyed seeing loons, eagles, and osprey which are abundant. "The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views."

"We spent a couple of days here while visiting colleges in area. This was a convenient location, a comfortable cottage, and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out through the tree tops at the lake."

"Very relaxing vacation. The excellent weather certainly helped. We live locally so our adult children could come over for kayaking and dinners. The fire pit was great and we had s’mores every night. Just need to bring your own firewood. Having Wi-Fi was a plus. Dog friendly as it was fenced all around."

"We loved our stay at the lake. Sitting on the dock watching the boats and wildlife was perfect. The house had everything we needed. It's a short drive to the grocery store and Winthrop is the cutest town to visit. Our first time to Maine and it did not disappoint."

"Ingham Pond is truly a magical location. The cottage is just as described with everything you need in tip-top shape. Kitchen is one of the best equipped we've seen in a similar property. There is a great grill to use and you are right on this quiet pond where the loudest noise you are likely to hear are the Loons calling. Roger is a great host and he is nearby if you need anything. Would definitely plan to return and have already recommended it to friends."
