"I spent a lovely week staying as a guest of Yao in a room behind the Trreehouse itself. My room was on the first floor with a bathroom just opposite. The room had its own little balcony with 2 chairs overlooking beautiful wooded gardens. It had its own fridge which was very useful but in addition to that I had access to a rooftop open kitchen with everything you could need. Yao & his wife Adjoa were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed a lovely meal with host Yao and other guests. As a solo female traveller I felt safe and comfortable. A great place to stay for a relaxing break away from it all in fresh cool clean air. Advisable to have a car as it's a little off the beaten track - but that's the beauty of the place! "We ended up checking in very late, and had to leave very early, so our stay wasn’t incredibly long but it was a great hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast offered a little bit of everything & was quite tasty. And the staff we encountered during our very short stay were all very polite and friendly. Would have loved to stay longer if we could have but would definitely go back if every we are back in the country"

"We liked that it was in a residential area close to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly accommodating helpful polite and responsive. It had air conditioning a must, the rooms were cleaned everyday, including bedding and towels. The accommodation is a bit dated but cleanliness was of a high standard. There was always someone at the desk to respond to any query 24 hours. There was also a small carpark and security at the gate. If you are looking for a place with entertainment then this is not the place for you. Ifvyou are looking to have a base to stay while you explore Ghana, then it is a good place to stay. "

Make sure to take a walk in the neighborhood and appreciate the coolness of Aburi. The hosts Yao and Aaj are also just wonderful people to chat with, and as a foreigner, you do feel at home with them."

"AC was not working had to be switchef to different room and there was no towel and the cleaning chemmical was strong. The staff was too serious no smile at all i was not sure ig something wad wrong with me. In the end i did get a AC room and towels so i wss satisfied "
