"Our stay was idyllic. This is a very peaceful space. It is rustic but with all the modern requirements. Check in was easy and the hosts were very responsive with our questions and needs. It is a lovely hike down to a very secluded beach. My partner and I were here for a cycling adventure and our own yoga retreat and this property was perfect. Our only regret is that we didn't book it for the whole two weeks of our stay."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at La Joya. Despite the flooding of only a few days before, the property was in an excellent condition and the access roads were fine. Jose and his family were very helpful with the few minor problems that we had and they sorted them immediately. We would definitely look to stay there again if we are coming to the area. "Absolutely incredible property - stunning, spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and with amazing views. I cannot recommend it enough. All facilities are in excellent working order and the owner is easily contactable for any issues. "Beautiful cottage, small but ideal for two. Lovely gardens. A bit of traffic noise because it's right above a bend on the main road to Frigiliana and, as others have mentioned, dogs barking through the night are off putting, but probably out with the owners control. Some information on the surrounding area, amenities etc. would be helpful.. The electric blanket, bathroom heater, air con heating and of course a great wood burning stove made this an excellent, cosy winter stay"
