So, firstly the drains- yes, there was a bit of a whiff in the room (fine with window open) but you may notice the same whiff as you go into Sol/Opera/Santa Domingo metro stations- so might be a wider issue that the hostel can't control. But defo a bit of a drain smell there. Room was fine, clean, functional, with a balcony and for the nightly cost was excellent value. Service was great, everyone was super friendly. I'd use again for use, but at a time of year I could happily leave the window open!
