"Our stay at Elephant Lodge was extraordinary. The service was wonderful and very attentive. We stayed one night and we wish we had stayed longer. We were the only couple at the lodge and they made it a very special visit. First the elephant arrived at the drinking pool only about 30 feet away and was drinking and splashing himself. Then when we went to have dinner it was wonderful. Our table for two was beautifully set up in advance along with lights everywhere. The chef from Portugal came out and described in detail the upcoming five course dinner. There were three chefs in the kitchen cooking our dinner, two wait staff attending to our needs, and the resort manager pouring our wine. When we finished dinner, they had a bonfire going for us. One of the staff brought our a guitar and started singing. Before long three of the staff were all singing and dancing. overall, a very extraordinary evening I would highly recommend to anyone. "
