"We had a wonderful stay overall. Our first evening, we went down to Lincoln State Park and did some hiking/swimming. The next 2 days, we ventured to Holiday World, which was an extremely easy drive from this location. We had a group of 12 people, 5 adults/7 kids, and we comfortably fit in this house. It was wonderful to have the air mattress and pull out couch available to make it happen! Kitchen was also great and included everything we needed to prepare our meals. Only negative to this house...

"We brought our son and his wife and kids to our holiday world mini vacation. There was plenty of space for all of us and lots of space for the kids to run and play. They even had games for the kids. The place was exactly as described. The host was very easy to communicate with and promp with responses. We will definitely plan to stay there again!"

"My family and I booked at the last minute so we could go view the Solar Eclipse. The process of booking, checking in and checking out was a breeze. Jodey was very responsive and extremely helpful in making our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend a stay here, and we hope to return for a Christmas visit to Santa Claus."

"We had a very short visit at this property but would have been happy staying much longer. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking all types of meals, there was a full size washer & dryer and the beds were comfy. Great little touches, like board games and a selection of DVDs and an outdoor fire pit (bring your own wood) with seating and an outdoor grill. Nice yard for the kids to run around, play catch, etc. Even though it was on a main road, it was very quiet."

"We have family in Owensboro, and sometimes we need a little extra space when we visit from Bowling Green. This adorable house is in the perfect location and gives us the extra space needed for “spillover”…so much better than staying at a hotel. We will definitely be staying at the Blue Moon Cottage again!"

"Lovely house in a peaceful countryside setting. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to all the birds singing. Everything we needed was provided. There was even an acoustic guitar that my hubby enjoyed playing. Thank you !"

"Everthing was great! Very clean and spacious. We had all we needed. Only suggestion would be to make sure yard is mowed. We had our pet and fence had a hole in it out back and grass was really tall. We could not let her out back to run around. Had to keep her on leash. Everything else was perfect! Thanks!!"

"First, I have always been iffy on staying somewhere other than a hotel when we travel. However, we had a large group on this trip so I decided to give this a try. It was perfect from the start. Amy was quick to respond to questions. We get to the property and it was right across the road from Holiday World. We all go inside and start looking around. It was very clean and setup nicely. Great use of space and plenty of room for the 12 of us. I was amazed at her attention to all the little things....

"As soon as we walked in my husband could smell cigarette smoke. When we got home any clothing we wore smelled of smoke also. It was listed as non smoking but there were rule breakers there sometime The house itself is nice and it was clean. Host provided just about anything you can think of. He also made a trip out to the house to help us with the WiFi. Home is very remote so it can be spotty at times. He also put a new filter in the air conditioner. Great host!
