"W hi at an incredible surprise when we checked in. So much greater than the pics The History of the place, and all the amenities. The room was spectacular looking over the park and canal. So peaceful. Yet it was so close to everything. This was the crown jewel in our visit to Netherlands. We fell in love with Utrecht. I will recommend Karel-V as top place to stay. The staff were so helpful getting us to the hotel when we got lost. Sent a taxi for us. Thankyou so much for such a memorable time."

"Honestly didn’t expect much considering it’s right in the city and I just needed to stay one night. But it was super convenient to parking garage and station. Next to the Dom! Right in the middle of everything you want to see in Utrecht. And surprisingly while my room was facing a usually busy street, it was quiet in the room! Was so happy with that. I felt it was spacious enough for me (although if you’re with other people having the toilet right there and the sink is in the room, I would upgrade for a larger room). Staff were amazing and kind. Hotel is just beautiful, I did not find any flaws. "

"Beautiful, modern, American-like hotel with all the expected American amenities like a working hair dryer, iron and ironing board, hand towels and wash cloths! Very much enjoyed this hotel on our last night in Europe. Stayed because it was close to the train station but there was a strike. The front desk was very helpful in finding us a taxi to the airport. Wonderful place!"

"Definitely recommend! I was only there for a night stop but I wish I would have stayed longer. The hotel was very well located, nice and clean. It was also pretty quiet when I was there and I slept very well. And I arrived pretty late because of a train delay but the staff were super nice and understanding."
