"We booked this place to celebrate my husband's Memorial Day weekend birthday -- just the two of us. We wanted time on the lake outside of the Charlotte Motor Speedway/Coca Cola experience I bought him for his birthday. The property exceeded our expectations -- so much so, we didn't eat a single meal out, opting to cook/grill out to maximize our time on the lake. We wanted for nothing. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, with every amenity -- the kayaks, paddleboards, firepit, dock...

"First, Georgia (homeowner) was outstanding with communication. Quick and clear responses to any questions. Second, the house was clean and convenient in a great location on the lake. The 2nd floor screened in deck with fans was where we spent most of our time playing games, eating and relaxing. We rented a boat from Georgia and she made it very convenient (offered to drop it off at our dock). 5 stars all around."

"We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area."

"We came in for a quick weekend for a swim meet in Clover. This location was perfect for us. The host has done a great job with this apartment. The decor is absolutely charming. I thought the kitchen was really well-stocked. We will stay here again for next year’s meet."

"I enjoyed the location of this property and the responsiveness of the host. However, all the good pictures of the house are in the post. The floor was soft, the bathroom door had been kicked in at some point and didn’t even shut. There were holes in the ceiling from a previous leak, etc. I hope there is a place on this app that I can add the pics that I took"

"The simple home was everything but simple a great location , lots of space and things for both adults and children. We only wish it was warm enough to enjoy the pool. The house was clean and well stocked. And Teri was awesome."

"We enjoyed the cabin and being on Lake Norman was vert relaxing and it's beautiful. Would highly recommend it and would revisit in the future. Gorgeous neighborhood and friendly neighbors."

"What a beautiful property to stay and relax and celebrate our daughter graduating from college. We were a Family of 10 coming from Florida, Virginia and Georgia. To be all together in a beautiful home with the lake and activities vs staying in a typical hotel setting - was so much more enjoyable! We loved our time together as a family! "We came for a weekend trip to go to the Oyster & Wine Festival in Charlotte and found this cute cottage on Lake Wylie to stay at. The house sits at the end of a street with very nice homes on either side. The parking area is circular which was nice since we had 2 vehicles with us. The home itself is nice and cozy, has a "lake vibe", was clean and had plenty of kitchen things and a coffee maker. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Its about 10 minutes to a grocery store and...

"If I could give more stars than 5, I would! The cottage is clean and comfy, in a beautiful wooded setting. The beds are very comfortable, the bath towels are plush and soft, and the kitchen is stocked with what you need for meal prep. We all especially enjoyed the evening sounds coming from the wooded area. The trip to and from the airport is very easy and the house is conveniently located. The Host is lovely, with excellent communication. Our entire stay was enjoyable!"
