"The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the Overamstel subway station, which makes access to and from Centraal Station and Schipol Airport very easy. The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and speak fluent English. Our room faced the subway tracks, but we never heard the trains, nor passing aircraft on the approach to Schipol. The dining room is quaint and we enjoyed our first dinner in Amsterdam there. The breakfast buffet is well worth the price, the selection is huge, and there is a lot of seating space. Our bedroom was spacious, the view was nice, the bathroom was clean and tidy. We had no complaints about anything, we were well taken care of and would certainly recommend this place to anyone, and should we return to Amsterdam we would stay here again. There isn't much to see in the immediate area as a tourist but the walk along the street, canal and sidewalks were all enjoyable. "
