"We booked this property because of the space and amenities within it, thinking that it would be a good home base to go to Killarney and Dingle and the surrounding areas. What we didn't know is that the little town of Castlemaine has a fun life of it's very own and if you go to Griffin's (a 1-2 minute walk!) for dinner and move to the bar for drinks afterwards, you will have a fantastic time! "I stayed at Jerry's Cottage for 2 weeks, one week with my sisters and one week solo. We all loved the cottage: the amazing vistas in all directions, and the fun of finding ourselves in the midst of a working sheep farm. Being there in lambing season was a bonus. The house is big and roomy with high end finishes The bedrooms are huge with comfortable beds. 3 have on suite and the bedroom on the ground floor is right next to a full bath. Lots of space for everyone to find their own spots. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We did several dinners there plus breakfasts. Loved the cows watching us. "This place was excellent for our Ireland Golf trip. We had 8 golfers which included two of my son’s and two wives joined us for a total group of 10. The home was well situated for our drives to some of Ireland’s premier golf courses and our day trip to Killarney. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos particularly the two upstairs king en suite bedrooms. Sean was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. Much appreciated. John"
