"I booked this property for my 50th birthday so my friends and family could stay in the one place. The property is gorgeous, the mud brick makes the house feel so welcoming, comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are all lovely, most with ensuites. Nice linen and plenty of spare woollen blankets. The views are gorgeous and the private beach spectacular. We spent a day down there paddleboarding and fishing. The boys caught a fish and loved it. Plenty of wood for the fire pit and lovely owners made...

"We had 3 days in Paynesville and were able to have our dogs with us. This property has secure fencing and welcomes four legged family members. If you don't ride bicyles its quite a way from the centre of town. The house was well equipped and clean."

"We loved everything about Pelican Brief. The moment we opened the door and saw the canal view we knew we were going to be having 4 days of pure relaxation. Waiting for us on the kitchen bench was the most scrumptious loaf of fresh bread, butter and blueberry jam. This served us for all the days we weee there. "Upon arrival this property was a huge disappointment and of concern especially given its website description and the high price paid. Its old, outdated and had a musty smell about it which was not going to be suitable for our friend with health issues. I visited the property manager (Brayden) who was excellent in finding us modern and suitable alternate accommodation. Brayden's customer service is of the highest order."

"This was a great sized house for us and our dog who loved the enclosed back yard. The downstairs area was perfect for our kids but a shame the table tennis table was not there! Lovely location to walk the dog by the water and hire a little green boat to do some fishing. Close enough to visit Metung & Lakes!"
