Beautiful well kept building-only basic cable channels a bummer.Fact that other persons occupied a basement apartment concerning.Would not seek to rent this property on our next annual trip,,

Lack of Communication in all aspects
Our trip wasn't horrible but it definitely wasn't as peaceful as we would have liked. Communication with the host was lacking and we were disappointed to find out they were living in the basement. While the 4 adults living in the basement weren't loud, we could smell their cooking coming from the basement and it flooded the entire house. They also congregated outside where they sat in the yard chatting and doing other household chores. The house wasn't particularly bad but the standing water in the large planter, pictures frames with no pictures and some canvas pictures with the plastic still around them made it feel like decorating was an after thought. One of the rooms was so crowded that it was almost unusable. We couldn't use the outside due to the owners being out there. The location is nice, but there is a freeway near by and you can hear it in the house. This made sleeping with the windows open impossible and even then you needed something to drown out the noise. Overall, I am disappointed that VRBO didn't assist us with our concerns and the owner didn't disclose they still lived on the property. We would not stay here again and wanted to make sure you got the full picture before deciding to stay here.
