"Pascal est un hôte absolument charmant. Je n'ai rien à redire au niveua de son accueil. Cependant, le logement ne correspond pas a mes attentes en terme de propreté et de prestation. J'ai malheureusement très mal dormi du gait du matelas usé..."

"Séjour très sympathique dans un petit village en bordure de Charente. Le gîte est propre et bien agencé pour une famille avec 2 enfants. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs et à l'écoute. "

"We had a great stay at the house with two families. Veronique was wonderful and the place was charming and well located for drives to interesting places. You certainly need a car. The pool kept the kids occupied and was big enough to really improve their swimming."

"We stayed for 5 nights in this nice compact holiday home. The bed was very comfortable, shower room was good and we liked the outdoor space to eat a lovely breakfast, brought by Christopher each morning. The kitchenette had a kettle and fridge. The small pool was very clean and provided a welcome dip. Off road parking and a place for our bikes was good. A list of good restaurants was very welcome. I would recommend this property for a short stay. "

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Port des Barques et dans cette très sympathique location qui est au calme et avec les commerçants très proches de la location ce qui évite de prendre la voiture. La plage avec la retenue d’eau est très appréciable surtout quand c’est marée basse "

"Exceptional property in beautiful rural location. 18 of our family stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday accommodation. Superb pool, great covered/outside eating area, boules, table tennis etc. Air conditioning in one apartment building, thick walls and therefore relatively cool in the other apartment building. Really super stay. Note for English renters: Towels and toilet paper not provided as we believe is the custom in France."
