"Our family (10 of us) loved our stay. The house was really well equipped and such an interesting building. There were lots of places to sit and relax whilst the kids could play games or swim. The night skies are magic to gaze at from the terrace. Lots of historical places to visit too. "

The house is in a wonderful area, very quiet and rural yet only 3-4km from the nearest villages/ small towns with lots of great restaurants etc. The house itself is wonderful - a true home from home. The garden is 'rustic' but great for lots of people and the dog. Note - it is not fully fenced in, although there are hedge boundaries and gates to the main road, so the dogs can (and ours did!) escape! Could do better !!!

"No one at check in @ 17.00pm Booking in machine would not recognise my booking despite me having already paid. Was waiting 30 minutes for someone to turn up. Breakfast should have been at 06.30am but was not open until 06.45 and the manager was still in pyjamas hair not brushed. Not very professional. Personally I would have sacked her and found a new manager. "
