"The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. "

"A beautiful well equip comfortable cottage in the middle of the French countryside with its own private swimming pool and large garden.The cottage is several miles outside the town, so a car is necessary. We received good prompt information and tips from the owner. And received good local advice from Bill,the local rep."

"This is a fantastic property with everything you would need for a relaxing, peaceful stay away from home. The host was very welcoming and we felt right at home immediately. Everything we needed was in the property. We have stayed at several gites over the years and this definitely had the best provision of kitchen and laundry items, as well as items we would need for outdoors - loungers, a hammock etc."
