"The shower wasn’t functioning, 1st day water was spilling all over the floor from the shower and we had to clean the floor with the towels, when asked for extra towels they sent a $$$$. Next 2 days had to settle with cold showers, the 1st thing of the day cold shower ruined the morning (especially for kids). I would definitely not stay here again. "

"Reception is at a different location that apartment. Tv wasn’t working due to broken cable. Apartment smelled old. Bathroom sync was slow to drain and smelled. Lots of flying bugs even though windows were closed. One light in bathroom was burned creating a darker bathroom because of dark brown shower tiles. AC was working on main living room but spotty on bedrooms. "

"Booked this really charming 1 bedroom in a super clean and quiet building central to Ramblas and Gothic Quarter and could not have been happier. Communications conducted in English without issue, property team were accessible and provided clear instructions on entry. Lots of supermercados (mini grocery stores) next door and around the corner, plenty of food options (and check out the asian supermercado if you want to cook meals at home). Called vrbo at 1:30 am to get in and owner did answer and help. Once we were in and settled things were great but it was unnecessarily stress producing for weary travelers. We loved the neighbourhood and being close to stores and shops, even though we don’t speak Spanish, we were able to enjoy. "Could not have been happier with the hosts and accommodations! Rosa and Miguel are wonderful hosts. Rosa met us upon arrival and got us acquainted with the apartment as well as the neighborhood. She had wine, snacks, coffee, juices already stocked in the kitchen. She gave us a map highlighting all the sites and recommendations on transportation and restaurants. Upon checkout Miguel actually brought us to the train station!! Wonderful service. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Apartment was perfectly clean, management was responsive (and stored our bags when we arrived early), and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. We would gladly stay here again. Friendly reminder- like most city apartments, this one is in a larger building near a busy intersection with neighbors in all directions. Bring ear plugs if you can't sleep with some noise."
