"The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. It was the perfect basecamp for us as we travel mostly during the day and came back to the best amenities and such a great open space for all of us to relax. Communication was thorough but through WhatsApp and through a very detailed handbook left inside! Would absolutely recommend this place to future guests!"

We did not use the 3rd bedroom open loft area but it would be fun for children to have their own space with TVs and headphones. "Had the most amazing stay here. Beautifully appointed cottages with panoramic views surrounding. The cottages are amazing inside, warm, cozy and the most incredible bed. Shower is rainfall, bathroom was well equipt and the communication throughout was amazing! Willl recommend for sure - plus we saw the northern lights which is why we picked this location (along with accessibility to things nearby)"

"We were extremely happy with our stay in the Hella cottage. It was the perfect location for taking wonderful day trips to the waterfalls, city and glaciers. The hot tub is why we booked and it did not disappoint. All the instructions were clear, and the cottage was well stocked. We were very lucky on the last day and was able to watch the northern lights from the porch. Highly recommended, and if we ever find our way back we will be bookint again."

"We stayed five nights in April 2024. We were treated to the Northern Lights our first night. The house is spacious, clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable. It sleeps ten in beds. The area is super quiet. The hot tub is pristine. The host was great and had good documents. The trash/recycling system could be a little more well documented. We did the golden circle, two hot springs and the southern beaches (where we saw Puffins!) Great stay, thanks so much!"

"This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town.
