Unfortunately, I was traveling through Lakeview during the covid-19 crisis. And during my brief stay it appeared as if the town was doing a good job of staying open, safe and hospitable during these scary times.

"It was a very nice hotel. It is older and the bed was a bit worn. Overall it was a nice place for the price and one night. Lady at check in was very sweet. One drawback no ice machine."

Apartment above Polar Bear
"It had what we needed as far as wi-fi, comfortable bed, Smart TV, kitchen accessories. BUT an older property that has been very well used, very dated, and some issues (toilet not bolted to the bathroom floor). We would stay there again if we were in a pinch."

It is an isolated town with motel resources that overcharge because competitive prices are not needed. For the price we paid the facility was old and in need of repair. There is spectacular scenery in the surrounding area. No ‘ lake view’.
