Driving up the hills/mountains was definitely a new and amazing experience for me. My daughter really enjoyed hiking at Chimney Rock Park. Such a great mother/daughter bonding experience!

Chimney rock isn't what it used to be 15 years ago. Trails were better than. Limited access now with stairs every where.

The whole Lake Lure area is so spectacular. We were surprised at how beautiful it was. Loved that the lake was so quiet. The towns of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are like a step back in time. Just delightful! Great place to relax and recharge.
