"A wonderful retreat nestled in forested neighbourhood with walking trails. Had to drive to amenities, but not far to Sidney or airport. Hosts were super, suite was well stocked with everything you needed. Special treat were the presence of two wonderful Golden Retrievers, two miniature ponies, and Topaz, the friendly horse. Had a great time (2 nights) and would absolutely stay again."

"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. "

"We were so happy to find this beautiful rental! Our 2 week stay was so cozy and relaxing. Stunning views with a peaceful atmostphere, we even greeted by some local deer. With a quick drive to many different towns and attractions made this spot very convenient for our stay. Top notch and we'll definitely be staying here for our next visit. Thank you!"

"We appreciated the quiet surroundings. Daisy the dog kept us company. She didn’t know it but it made our day. The wood fireplace was just perfect. Comfortable beds and furniture. Loved the mint shampoo and body soap. Simply nothing negative to share!"

"No major complaints. Would of been nice to know which of the 3 containers is soap shampoo etc. Also wouldn't hurt to have access to garbage bags as the one in the bathroom was missing. Overall very happy with the place."

"We went on a spur of the moment cycling trip to Salt Spring Island. The hills were tough but at the end of that error in judgment was the gem that is Hummingbird B&B. Highly recommended accomodations for those impulsive cyclists out there when Salt Spring Island beckons. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality. Everything went off without a hitch."

"This cozy trailer is on the owners property adjacent to the river. Many forest walks await with the provincial park nearby. If you are looking for a quiet location to recharge your batteries this is it. The bed was super comfy, bbq worked well and propane heater in the trailer worked well. Only thing lacking is wifi if you need it. Unplug and enjoy. You won’t regret it!"

"Great location, peaceful and very comfortable. They have a yard for any occasion or event...I counted 5 that are perfectly manicured, felt like royalty. Inside was just as perfect with all the amenities for a large group. Very comfortable beds!! I will absolutly recommend."

"I hosted a retreat here with 7 people staying and sharing the beautiful living space. The land brings so much to the experience, the movement space is so functional and Heidi is the perfect host. Gorgeous meadows, forests and being able to spend time at the ocean and with the horses is incredible. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to host a retreat in a quiet, beautiful space."

"The property is absolutely beautiful. The description says the beds are queen size, however, I think that’s more of a full size in US terms. But very comfortable. I would suggest fitted sheets on the bottom as opposed to flat, as I had to wrestle with them all night. Other than that, the property owner was very helpful."

"We've been to this property many times however there were a few snags with this trip. We asked if a playpen was available via email and phone call. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. There was zero water coming out of the top floor bathrooms sink, and the bath trickled water - so it took 45 minutes to fill it if you wanted to use it. I informed management via...

"stayed at the west over BnB for 2 nights an it was great, close enough to town but you feel so private and remote tucked away with the trees. Martin was so kind and welcoming, offering great suggestions for the activities I wanted to do; breakfast was delicious and the outdoor tub under the full moon was magic."
