"The Sylvan Inn is a comfortable, friendly, and historic bed & breakfast in Glen Arbor, very close to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan, and Glen Lake -- an absolutely gorgeous setting for many kinds of outdoor adventures. It's walkable to the shops and restaurants in Glen Arbor, and breakfast was consistently delicious. Great porch for relaxing too, and a convivial place to make new friends while traveling. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Cottonwood inn. It’s conveniently located in an area not too far from the beach and local restaurants. The staff was friendly and inviting. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our remote had dead batteries and we contacted our host and they were promptly replaced. The one thing I would note is that we had to take really quick showers because the hot water would run cold fast. "Marie and Ted were fabulous hosts!! We arrived late (and they were out of the house) and they left very detailed instructions for us in their absence. "We had a 11 person group stay here for a trip up north to go skiing at Crystal and celebrate my 30th bday. We enjoyed every inch of the property and wished we could’ve stayed longer! "I stayed at this property 20 years ago, and returned to northern Michigan for vacation for the first time since. It was exactly how I remembered it. Beautiful, peaceful property, with lots of activities. We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our room and it was spacious and decorated perfect. The Aerie restaurant was beautiful with panoramic views. The staff was extremely friendly. The pools and hot tubs were perfect for a peaceful evening activity. The hotel is great for a romantic getaway, but also family oriented. We will be back again"
