Enjoy the best in lake vacations at the Buckskin Lake Kodiak Cabin, just outside Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin. The cabin is located on the northeast shore of Buckskin Lake, a natural spring lake of 648 acres. This beautiful lake has 5 islands and less than 40% of the shoreline is developed. Buckskin Lake has a fish cleaning house, picnic area, campfire pit, horseshoes, swim raft for the young and old and a large sand lot/playground. Lac du Flambeau is about 5 miles away, where there are Native American ceremonies, a museum, and a casino and bingo hall. Minocqua is about 11 miles away, where there are plenty of unique shops to browse in, and very fine restaurants for dining. Also close by are lumberjack shows, water ski shows and fine golf courses. The Kodiak Cabin is just steps from the water and is nestled among many large pine, white birch and oak so you can enjoy the true outdoor experience away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
