"Located 10 km from tournai, nice place to spend a few days when visiting family. Car needed as it is not walking distance from anything. It is in the park of a nice castle. Very quiet, green. Rooms are standard, basic decoration. Staff is nice and easygoing. "
"The room was nice...cozy...shower ok bathroom is outside but next door. The kitchen didn't have any cooking oil so I asked the lady at the reception if she could provide me something. She said no...I had to insist a lot so that she called her boss who told her to buy a bottle of oil at the shop in front of the hostel. She could have been more attentive and proactive. But the lady at the reception next day was really friendly."

"This was a one night stop on our way south - we have stayed before and enjoy seeing the horses nearby. The breakfast was very nice. the only issue was that the holder for the shower head was broken, so we had to hold it ourselves. A good budget friendly place in summary. "

The room was a very good size, with a comforable bed and a great on- suite bathroom / shower.

"This was a perfect stopover for us on the way from Calais to Pairi Daiza Zoo. Great value, we had a large family studio room with kitchen and two double beds. It was immaculately clean. Piet the host was super accommodating, we enjoyed drinks in the bar playing cards and whilst there is no restaurant as such Piet offered us dinner of shrimp croquette and fresh fish with potatoes and candied fennel followed by delicious strawberries and homemade vanilla ice cream for âŹ25 a head. And a plate of fish fingers for my son. It was delicious. Breakfast offered eggs, breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, cereals, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.
It was a bit cold for the swimming pond but it was enchanting. Plus a trampoline for my son he enjoyed a bounce.

"OK for one night. The rooms are in an old stable block that has been converted. There is a small bistro and bar on the ground floor offering basic but good food. Right next door is a park with an arboretum and an old chateau. There is a children's playground and large cafe in the grounds. There is a stud and horse riding club alongside the rooms. The rooms are small and the breakfast area is cramped but you can take your breakfast to your room. There is another restaurant across the road."
You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Museum of History and Archaeology during your trip to Tournai. Amble around the area's riverfront or experience its museums.
