"Wish we could have stayed longer - the breakfast is set up for Japanese travellers, but it all looked very pretty! The onsen was clean and not over crowded. The room was very nice and you could borrow a yukata and obi from reception to wander about in. Lovely and would like to come back."

The spa was excellent - well maintained, large, hot pools on two floors including the rooftop Onsen which was enjoyable. Nice toiletries at the spa. Enjoyed the mushroom tea from the lobby. Very close to Oita Station, take lift to level 8 to hotel lobby. Food easily accessible at Amu Plaza."

"I stayed at the Myajima branch of the Grandvrio Hotel. It's very much catered to Japanese guests, and once again, I was the only European, but I don’t mind. There's plenty of room space and lots of amenities. Dinner is always nice, and breakfast is just as good. I really like the Grandvrio Hotel chain."
