"I fully recommend this place eyes closed, 1000%. The service I just can’t describe it. Whenever we needed something we got it right away. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, welcoming. This place is very peaceful. 15 mins away driving from rethymno so if you want to be closer to everything ( restaurants, old town, etc then this place wont be your best choice. Regardless, is worth going. You can make reservations to eat at Kapsaliana hotel."

"My fiancé and I stayed here the night before and night of our wedding. I cannot say enough amazing things about this location or the people who work here. We left feeling like family. We all shed a tear at checkout. I’ve never experienced the level of genuine kindness and hospitality that we did here anywhere in the world. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. From the food to the amazing view, this place is truly magic. "

"Amazing place if you want traditional housing and don't mind mountainous roads and you plan to travel into town from the village for eating out. The one taverna that serves food only opens at 2000 and isn't open every day. When they are open though they have Amazing food and the waitress was amazing as well. There's places to get groceries if you want to cook for yourself."
