"Castle view bungalows are chalet type buildings at the foot of the hill leading up to the castle. There is a decent sized pool on site and breakfast comes in the form of a pre-prepared box for two. The drive up to the Castle is short and must be done. The admission of 12 Euros is well worth the money, the views and the frescoes in the three churches are amazing. A word of warning, the footpaths are uneven and the climb is strenuous. The nearby village of Mystras is charming and has several tavernas and a cople of shops."

"This was the best stay I had on my trip. Pristine silence and fresh air, and a small heating unit makes the room cozy. Comfy bed, pillows, and blankets. It's "minimal"... but really it has everything you need and more... Nikos was nice, communicative (over phone), and recommended a *great* local restaurant... 'En Chatipi' If you plan right and leave the heater on while showering, you can squeeze 12 minutes of steaming hot water. There's no wifi, but the place gets cell service. I did all my wifi things in town after dinner I visited in March and the oranges outside were ripe and delicious Thank you Nikos"

"Had a 4-day stay with a family of four and this property was remarkable. Just 10 mins from Sparta Central Square and a nice easy drive. Breakfast was phenomenal, the pool was spacious and you can just reserve it to ensure no unwanted issues. Parking is limited but never ran out. The rooms are spacious, shower is amazing, and staff was always grateful and helped us coordinate taxis or anything else. My only recommendation is to have a better after hours check-out process since we had to wait a considerable amount because there was no one at the front desk when we wanted to check-out. I should have given them more notice so keep that in mind if you checking out between 11pm-6am. "
