Konya is a good place for doing a stop if you travel from Cappadocia to the Mediterranean or vice versa. Dervish attractions are very interesting.
Catal Hoyuk was unforgettable.
Konya looks like a concrete city with new and wide streets but did not see many green parks and other facilities. The new buildings did not look architecturally well synchronized.
Great town. Be sure to add to your Turkish itinerary and stay at the Araf Hotel
