"This a jewel sitting next to the ocean," wrote one recent guest.

Our 1,000 square foot condo overlooks the immaculately kept Poipu Kai greenbelt with barbecues and walkways leading down to Brennecke's Beach. We searched for years to find just the right combination of view, proximity to the beach, and elegance. We found it at Kahala 623. Now we want to share it with you!

Imagine yourself sitting on the lanai, your favorite beverage in hand, a gentle trade wind flowing over you as you spy dolphins playing in the nearby ocean waves - the warm sun shining through the palm fronds in front of you.

You are 600 feet and a quick five minute walk to turtles playing in the waves. A few more minutes and you are at one of the best snorkeling and relaxing beaches in the world. Or you can just stay put on the lanai and watch incredible sunsets year round.

At Kahala 623 you will find a fully stocked kitchen, internet, your own parking spot, a washer and dryer in the unit (with detergent), a dish washer, state-of-the-art ceiling fans, a high chair, and - get this - a free portable air conditioner to use if the bedroom gets too warm (many places charge extra for this - but we don't!). There is also a handy screen on the front door to let the trade winds cool you. We even have a Pack 'n Play that can double as a crib.

There is a brand new lanai, new refrigerator, a 4k large screen TV in the living room, a new Beautyrest Hybrid king bed and a 4K HDTV in the bedroom for the evenings or anytime (with cable or you can log into your favorite streaming sites). There are lots of beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, towels and ice chests for daytime fun.

Having a restful and magical vacation is of utmost importance to us. You'll find we are very responsive to your questions and needs. We truly want you to feel pampered. As for security, we have never had any concerns while staying at Kahala but there is 24 hour security just in case.

As seasoned travelers to Kauai we have outfitted Kahala 623 as if we lived there all the time (and boy, don't we wish we could!). Come share the magic that is Kauai - there is no better place than Kahala 623.

Great location, great view, clean and well stocked

It was a great place, better than we hoped. The lanai overlooking the greenbelt with an ocean view was beautiful. Access was super easy, and the kitchen and closet with beach gear were both well stocked with everything we could want. With the tradewinds blowing we never even had to turn on the AC, despite it being upper 80s temps.

Perfect Place in Paradise!

This was definitely one of the best, if not the best stocked vacation rentals we have stayed at. (kitchen, beach equipment, etc.) Thank you for providing everything needed to make our stay comfortable and easy. For a rental that is not right on the ocean, the location could not be better and views from the lanai are amazing. Without a doubt, we will try to book the condo again if we get the chance to return to Kauai.

This is paradise!

You will be wanting for nothing if you decide to stay here! This condo was absolutely perfect for us. It was spacious, super clean, walking distance (5 minutes) to the beach, and maybe 10 minutes if you want to stroll down to Brennecke's or get yourself a Puka dog. Really, I cannot think of a single thing that I would change at this gorgeous place. We've stayed at many places in our 30 plus years of coming to Kauai, and this condo is definitely one of the top 3 that I can recall. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent getaway retreat

The location was great with everything within a couple of miles that you may need. Beautiful walk around the property with nearby restaurants and beaches to enjoy. The hpuse was perfect! Had everything and anything we could need. And very nicely decorated, with a wonderful view of the ocean.

Wonderful!

We loved this unit. It is now our favorite place to stay in Kauai and we have been vacationing in Kauai for more than a dozen years. We already rebooked for next year - probably says it all.Everything we needed was provided and all the equipment was of very good quality. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials and equipment.We stayed over Christmas, a really busy tourist season, and we did have to time our grilling a little. Tom responded immediately and resolved our question about the grill.The unit was very comfortable and quiet. We ate on the lanai nearly every day. The table umbrella was very helpful and the lounge chairs very comfortable. Tom and Margaret have obviously put a lot of effort into this spacious, tastefully decorated unit. The location is ideal for us, we walked along the beautiful Maha’ulepu Heritage Trail frequently. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit.

Too short, easy stay at Kahala. Place was great! Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. We didn’t have any problems but if we did Tom and Margaret were easily reachable. My husband, son and I enjoyed our stay here. The welcome basket of treats was a sweet surprise! The condo was clean, quiet, and well stocked with beach supplies. We loved seeing the turtles, whales breaching off in the distance and monk seals. We walked the nearby Heritage Trail which had beautiful views. We didn't need air conditioning.. The master bed was comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

Fantastic condo

Picture perfect condo with a great view of the ocean from the lanai. Quiet, super clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, oil, spices, etc. The bed is really comfortable. I have back problems, so I appreciated the high quality mattress. In fact, all the furnishings and appliances are in really good condition. The condo comes with everything we needed for a day at the beach - beach chairs and towels, boogie boards, and snorkeling equipment. Very convenient location- a quick drive to Starbucks, shops and restaurants. HomeAway is the place to stay!

Fantastic Condo - Responsive Hosts

Lovely condo with a view to enjoy from the lanai. Nicely renovated, great location, nicely stocked. Incredibly responsive hosts - Tom and Margaret answered queries very quickly and helpfully during the booking process. If I had to balance the all the positives out with a few items, I l’d note the bed was on the soft side (if you are used to a firmer mattress) and the air conditioning unit in the bedroom was a bit louder (didn’t bother us),. Love the property/area and condo. Five stars for a place to stay in lovely Kauai.

This condo is an amazing deal. Not only does it have a view of the ocean, but comes fully equipped with everything you could need. Close to multiple beaches, restaurants, and access to pool. The complex was very quiet and peaceful. My friends staying at the high end resort down the street were jealous of the condo and how much more of a value it was. The instruction book that was present made everything in the condo easy to use and find. We would stay here again with out hesitation.
