"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

"We wanted to experience Crete's culture. You really cannot do that when you stay in a hotel with 500 or your favorite friends!! This Villa is located about 30 minutes from Rethymno. Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. "Wer einen Erholungsurlaub inmitten einer archaischen Natur erleben möchte, ist in diesem sehr gut ausgestatteten, wunderschönen Haus genau richtig. Völlige Stille, nur durchbrochen von blökenden Schafen oder krächzenden Krähen... Nur hin und wieder ein vorbeiklapperndes Auto. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Henriette war perfekt und sehr herzlich und auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter unkompliziert und sehr zuverlässig. Touristische Infrastruktur ist - bei Bedarf - im Ort mehr als genug vorhanden."

About 1hour from the airport but in a rural environment it is within 10 mins of beaches and a lot of fascinating archaeological sites and within easy driving distance of many amazing mountain villages. Off the balcony, you have amazing views both day and night looking over Venerato village. enough due to the circumstances. The road that runs in front has parking but it's also noisy, and the balcony had no shade.
