"We were luck enough to have an earlier check in and the check in was easy and everything ready for us on our arrival. We had ordered a breakfast hamper of local produce and all was ready in the hut. The hut was bigger than it looks and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything you could think of was in the hut. "It truly was a perfect Christmas stay. We really appreciated the Christmas Tree and the treats. The cabin was so cosy and well equipped and we loved the views from the porch and the hot tub."

"I rarely leave reviews but this place really does get 5 stars for everything. Beautiful location, complete privacy, and all amenities you could need. We stayed in the safari tent which was well above our expectations. Great communication from the hosts too! "

"We actually stopped next door in the Foxglove hut . It was lovely and cosy and clean. There were plenty of logs for the log burner. The kitchen is next door to the hut and was adequate to cook a meal. We did try the organic veg and meat and they were very good. I would highly recommend taking food essentials as the nearest shop is about a 30min drive away and be aware that the last couple of miles of roads are not that well maintained .... all added to the remoteness of the place and the feel...

"We had a very nice stay here. Room was great, good shower, nice bed. Breakfast was the type your order from menu, but decent options and well-made. Loved the pool part, quiet and relaxing, with a small pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Highlight was the staff, very friendly and helpful. Caveat on the rooms. Old part of hotel must be 50-100 years old. And rooms show that. While in the back they extended hotel with another building, where we stayed, these rooms are very modern and new. "
