We were given a full induction to Bovec with a map upon arrival and given plenty of recommendations on how to get the most out of our time. "This property looks great from outside but it needs a full renovation badly. It felt like walking into a hotel in the early 90s. Carpets in the rooms are worn out and faded. Staff don’t show a lot of enthusiasm for what they do. Housekeeping was the worst. Upon arrival I noticed duvets were not very clean. A lot of hair on and in the duvet. I had to ask for them to be replaced. The shampoo and body wash container in the bathroom was empty throughout my stay. I travel with my own so didn’t need it but was waiting for housekeeping to noticed. I even tipped the cleaner one day hoping they’ll do a bit extra but no improvements. Although rooms were cleaned daily, staff did not change used glasses throughout the room even if they had wine from the day before. The casino, coffee shop, and location is all this property has going for it. "

"The hospitality at Hotel Mangart was absolutely phenomenal. The hostesses went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. One hostess accommodated my diet when the dinner menu when I was unable to eat what was being served. Another hostess, Ana S. was exceptional from the beginning of my stay to the end. When I lost my sunglasses in town, she went out of her way to give me a pair of her own which she no longer used. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. "
