"No good so not a B&B. Requested 1st for got 3rd no elevator. Front office very nice said we had a maze to get to room but steps were not that bad. Cleaning was great all things worked. Bed not soft good! Big problem was no food. 😒"

"Lovely friendly welcome and very attentive. Rooms are in the middle of being decorated however that doesn't detract from the comfort or amazing views. Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods. "A much better hotel than the rating. A touch tired and the plumbing is noisy due to the age of the building, just needs a few floorboards raised to fix, but the bedrooms are very good. Breakfast was overpriced at £18.50 though and nothing outstanding."
