"We come each year for a quilting retreat with 4 or 5 women. We shop and eat a lot and enjoy sitting on the screened in porch with coffee in the morning and fire in the fire pit at night. Donny and Michelle are always so nice and helpful. We can't say enough about this place."

A little ways from Sight and sound but worth it to view the beautiful Amish countryside. The house was amazing and was exactly as advertised. "We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the house. The pictures don't do justice. It is beautifully decorated with attention to every little detail. We all slept great. The kids loved the pool! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!"

"My wife and I stayed 4 night in this updated 1700s cottage that was clean and cozy. I’m an early riser so I enjoyed the early mornings by the fire pit and my wife slept in. We visited a lot of the area places ie Strasburg railroad, sight and sound theatre which was amazing! Went to Amish and or Mennonite owned and or run shops and markets and just had a relaxing time when we return to the cottage . The Meck’s did a wonderful job updating yet keeping it from the era.
