"I am from the central CT area originally and typically need a multi-bedroom spot for my wife and toddler son. There isn’t much as far as choices in the area, but this place was great. It’s quiet, clean and cozy. Chris and his wife are great communicators and hosts - they met us to show us around and answer shy questions, and then let us enjoy our stay. "The staff was amazing and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and the dinner at their restaurant was delicious. We lucked out with a jazz band playing in the lobby with happy hour on a Thursday! The room was 5 star, beautiful bathroom and bedroom with a view of the port. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We would definitely stay there again!"

"Have stayed here frequently in the past but had a bit of difficulty finding them this year since they left the Clarion chain. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was very nice, rooms were clean and adequate. I was pleased with my stay and will come back again as I make regular stops in the Hamden-New Haven area. "

"We were greeted so beautifully by Cassandra and the young man she was training at the guest registration. She is a gem! Loved sitting out on the patio and admiring the magnificence of the water and the grounds. The buildings were immaculate 24/7 and our room was pristine! We will definitely be returning! Thank you!"
